Patients

Mountain Bluebird

Mountain Bluebird

Our 1000th patient of the year 2012, this beautiful Mountain Bluebird juvenile is a reccuring feature in many a garden with nest boxes due to bluebirds not being phased by nearby human activity.

Black Tern

Black Tern

Nesting and feeding around freshwater marshes, the Black Tern, isn't affected by humans as much as other birds, so it's an uncommon patient to the hospital.

Red-tailed Hawk

Red-tailed Hawk

If you've never seen this hawk before, you'll most definitely have heard it's call.  The Red-tailed Hawk has a distinctive screech which is used as a generic call for Raptors on the big screen!
